"It is the honey in my veins that makes my blood thicker and my soul calmer."* By exposing the colour of blood before its oxidation, "Les Vins d’Anjou" penetrate the body, seeking for the vital force in it to then raise it up onto a metallic surface. The latter has the privilege to diffuse the colour while canvas on the contrary, tends to absorb it. The canvas and its traditional cross-shaped wooden frame then turns into an octagonal painting.
